Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please read carefully

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS:

​Monthly membership fees are deducted through your DEBIT OR VIA CREDIT CARD (the payment method is set up by yourself). Credit cards and Debit Cards are accepted for monthly memberships. We accept American Express, Discover Card, Mastercard and Visa. 

This is the easiest and most convenient way to pay for your membership. Your fees are automatically withdrawn from your debit, or credit card account once a month.

SEMI- ANNUAL OR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS: 

 

Annual and semi - annual membership once off fees are deducted through your DEBIT OR VIA CREDIT CARD (the payment method is set up by yourself). Credit cards and Debit Cards are accepted for annual memberships and semi-annual memberships. We accept American Express, Discover Card, Mastercard and Visa.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION or UPDATE POLICY

​

LAKEFIT LLC does not require contracts. Monthly members may cancel their membership by PROPERLY submitting a cancellation request no later than 30 days prior to their next charge date via email support@lakefit.com or text 701 335 6300. Otherwise, in accordance with the membership agreement, LAKEFIT LLC remains authorized to charge the bank account provided by the member for automatic payment of their nonrefundable monthly membership dues.

 

Prepaid (Semi and Annual) memberships (i.e., Memberships that are paid in full in advance for a full 6 or 12-month) are NON-REFUNDABLE upon cancellation during any time prior to the next billing date.

ALL MEMBERSHIP are subject to changes or updates on the next billing cycle. Semi- or Annual Memberships cannot be updated anytime subsequent to the date of the initial sign up. Changes or updates to semi- and annual memberships can be scheduled prior to the upcoming billing date no later than 30 days before the renewal date. The changes or updates need to be requested via email to support@lakefit.com  or text to 701 335 6300.

MEMBERSHIP AND PROGRAM REFUND/CREDIT POLICY

​

Membership refunds are only permitted when there are extenuating circumstances that limited you from notifying the LAKEFIT LLC of your cancellation. These would need to be accompanied by proper documentation (i.e. doctor’s note).

If you were incorrectly charged due to the LAKEFIT’s failure to cancel or put the membership on hold, a full refund/credit will be given as long as the refund/credit is accompanied by proper documentation (i.e. proof of email to support@lakefit.com or text to 701 335 6300). Under any circumstances, LAKEFIT LLC will not refund/credit more than six months of membership at any given time.

MEMBERSHIP HOLDS POLICY

MONTHLY members are allowed to place their LAKEFIT LLC membership on hold for up to three months at a time, during which their regular monthly membership dues are paused. MONTHLY Members may request a hold up to two times per calendar year.

Written notice is required to start a membership hold. Members must submit their hold request in writing via email to support@lakefit.com outlining the date and reason for their hold. Their hold request will be completed within 7-10 business days. If a member is charged their membership dues after they have submitted their request, their payment will be refunded when the request is processed.

Members on hold do not qualify for member discounts but can register for programs at the non-member rate.

On hold memberships will automatically resume on the resumption date listed on the hold request, absent a properly and timely submitted cancellation request.

Annual and semi annual memberships receive a discount upon signup. Semi- and annual memberships cannot be placed on hold. Semi and annual memberships can schedule changes (i.e updates or cancellation) to their membership for the upcoming billing cycle with formal notice via email to support@lakefit.com or text to 701 335 6300 no later than 30 days prior to the renewal date.

FAMILY DEFINITION

​

One or two adults in a domestic partnership who live in the same household and their dependent children 21 years of age and younger.

​

AGE REQUIREMENTS

A person must be at least 16 years old to join as an individual.  However, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to sign up for membership.

​

Unless posted otherwise, children 16 years of age and older may use LAKEFIT LLC  facilities without adult supervision.

Children ages 9 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult and must have an adult by their side when using fitness equipment.

​

CODE OF CONDUCT

At LAKEFIT LLC we expect staff, members, and guests to always behave in accordance with our mission and our values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.

​

We demonstrate these values by:

  • Respectfully following facility rules

  • Dressing appropriately, speaking in respectful tones and refraining from the use of vulgar or derogatory language.

  • Resolving conflicts in a respectful, honest and caring manner. Never resorting to physical contact or threatening gestures.

  • Respecting others by refraining from intimate behavior in public; abstaining from contact of a sexual nature.

  • Respecting the property of others; never engaging in theft or destruction.

  • Creating a safe, caring environment; never carrying illegal firearms or devices.

  • Participating in programs to build a healthy spirit, mind and body; never engaging in the use, sale, dispensing or possession of illegal drugs or narcotics, or the unsanctioned use of alcohol on LAKEFIT LLC  premises.

Adherence to the LAKEFIT LLC Code of Conduct and regulations is essential. Noncompliance may result in suspension or termination of LAKEFIT LLC membership/program privileges without a refund.

LAKEFIT LLC - Garrison,ND reserves the right to remove or restrict usage of LAKEFIT LLC facilities or programs from any member who creates an unsafe or disruptive environment. Furthermore, LAKEFIT LLC  may require parent supervision for any minor who cannot conduct him or herself in a respectful manner while on LAKEFIT LLC premises.
